Hottie Hump Day 26
Debut erotic romance author, Raven Morris, wanted to share a few hotties this week. I figured, why not? So I’m handing over the reins
(and the saddle… and the riding crop… and the spurs… and the rope… and the ass-less chaps… and the… sorry, lost my train of thought) over to Raven this week. She is also sponsoring a giveaway. Enjoy! ~ Olivia
Now THIS is a reason to celebrate!
By Raven Morris
Hi everyone and thanks, Olivia, for allowing me to debut my new erotic short story series, Tied with a Bow by sharing my hotties on your Hottie Hump Day!
But this is pretty much the only sharing these guys are going to get, because the women do NOT want to share their fabulous birthday presents with anyone.
Yep, that’s what I said: birthday presents. Wouldn’t you like to unwrap something like this?
Imagine all the possibilities…
Birthday girls, Debra, Nicole, and Heather, not only imagine the possibilities, they get to act on them. These are gifts they’ll never forget.
Meet Jack:
He’s an attorney during working hours, but before and after? Jack is a very fun boy. He’s into some light bondage and, oh yeah, a threesome. Debra’s never done anything like that before, but when Jack brings an old buddy of his, all wrapped up in a bow tie and nothing else, to their bed, she’s more than willing to accept this gift.
Oh, and Jack isn’t all about work and no play during office hours. After all, that would make Jack a dull boy, and he’s definitely not.
Come get JACKED with Debra.
Meet Max:
Successful L.A. agent, Max knows how to handle his clients’ needs. Especially birthday girl, author Nicole Gennessey. Tonight is the premier of the movie made from her book and he wants to make it a night she’ll never forget—starting backstage where no one can see them.
Or can someone?
Does someone know what they’re doing in the wings? Is someone watching?
Nicole doesn’t care; tonight’s all about getting MAXED out.
Meet Rock:
Here’s Rock: Temporary housemate, boy-next-door, younger brother of Heather’s best friend. They’ve known each other their whole lives—and Rock’s had a thing for her the entire time.
Imagine Heather’s surprise when she comes downstairs on her milestone birthday to find Rock enjoying himself on her sofa—all because he’d been sorely tempted to join her in her shower.
She’s sorely tempted to let him.
And, she does. Later.
First though, Rock’s got a tour planned for her birthday. From the restaurant, to the park bench, to the zip line (that harness has all sorts of possibilities), to the erotic rides on his motorcycle, neither of them will ever forget the day they let their world get ROCKED.
The Guys:
Yes, Ian Somerhalder is Rock, how could he not be? Perfect best-friend’s-younger-brother who you just know had a prank-filled mischief side so he could get the object of his teenage (and adult) fantasies to notice him. I’ll get LOST with him any day!
Max is Eion Macken. I first saw him as Gwain on Merlin and, yup, he can stick me with his sword any time. So when I needed a longer hair, agent-y type, he immediately sprang to mind. (Considers he does a lot of springing in the story, that’s really not a surprise.)
As for Jack, I have no idea who this guy is, but if anyone knows, point me in his direction!
Jack’s, Max’s, and Rock’s stories are available electronically online and the 3-book anthology, Tied with a Bow, will shortly be available in print.
Hope you get everything you want for your birthday!
Here’s an excerpt from JACKED:
Debra opened her door. There, on her desk, were two vases of flowers. Lilies. Jack knew how much she loved them. He never sent roses. Roses were what every guy sent, but Jack was the most thoughtful man. He’d discovered her favorite flowers were calla lilies and ever since, that’s what he bought her.
But these… there were all different kinds of lilies. There were the callas she loved—a soft pink color—but also tiger lilies and day lilies and a few others she recognized but didn’t know the names of.
She called him. “Thank you. They’re beautiful.”
“Just like you.”
“Thanks, sweetheart.” He could still get her all flustered. Still make her blush. Which was utterly surprising given all they’d done today. “But you might want to call the florist. They goofed.”
“They did?” His lawyer voice crept in.
“Yup. They sent two arrangements. Make sure they don’t charge you double.”
“Hearing you so happy is worth double, Deb.”
“You spoil me.”
“I do. And I’m not complaining. Are you?”
“No way.”
“Good. Let me finish with this brief so I can get the hell out of here and come home to you. You can show me the proper amount of gratitude then.”
“I fully intend to.”
“Oh, hey, one more thing.”
She didn’t know if she could take one more thing. “What?”
“David called. He’s passing through on his way to Nepal for a six-month assignment.”
Deb smiled; David was Jack’s best friend, one they didn’t see nearly often enough. “Is he planning to stop by the house?”
“I told him we’d work him in, but that today was your birthday and we had plans.”
Deb slumped back in her chair, needing to fan herself. The idea of working David in… Jack had told her a few stories about his past. Oh, not specifics, but she knew David was part of that past. She’d suspected he’d been an intimate part of it—Jack had made no secret of the fact that he’d been int threesomes, though he’d never asked that of her.
She’d wondered what she’d say if he did. As long as it was all about the pleasure and not any type of loving relationship, it might be okay.
Or it was another guy.
Nah, Jack would never go for it. He loved her too much to want to share her. And she was okay with that. Some fantasies were best remaining that way.
“What about dinner tomorrow night?” she suggested, coming back to reality. “We could take him to the steakhouse on Weatherby. He might not be able to get a decent tenderloin for the next six months.”
“Sounds good. I did promise he’d get something tasty and memorable while he was here.”

I’ll give away a copy of the TIED WITH A BOW anthology on Monday to someone who shares the best birthday gift they’ve ever received in the comments below by noon Eastern time on July 23, 2012.
Jack is Noah Mills 🙂
Must. Google.
um, yes. do. very nice.
oooooohhhhh. Thank you!!!
The best birthday gift I ever received was when I called the police because some idiot left their dog in the car at the mall on a 90 degree day with the window (yes 1 window) cracked open. It was great when the fire department broke the window to rescue the dog. What happened to the dog you ask, He has been in my home for the past 3 years after I adopted him after court. Best gift ever. Thanks
So glad you saved that dog, Kathy!
That IS an awesome present – for both you and the pooch! What happened to the “owner”?
Reblogged this on Chronicles of a 40-something Nurse Wannabe and commented:
Sharing a new author, Raven Morris’, anthology, “Tied With a Bow.” Enjoy!
Thanks for reblogging, Michelle!
My pleasure.
I thank you as well!
You’re welcome!
Best birthday present was surprise tickets to Madame Butterfly at the Met and a fabulous hotel after… 😉
OOOH! I’m hearing story ideas. What a great birthday!
Best birthday gift for me was on my 18th. Mom recreated my 8th birthday cake with the Snow White and the dwarves figurines on it then gave me the figurines. She had saved them all that time just to give to me on that birthday. Thirty years later and I still have them.

awww! how awesome of MOM!
This past birthday my hubby took me to vegas to see the Dancing with the Stars live in vegas show(saw Thunder from down Under too) My gf flew in from the east caost and we got to meet Dmitry Chaplin from the DWTS before the show, he is only the most gorgoeus man out there and boy can that man dance!!!!
wow. How awesome!
Best birthday present was for my 16th birthday. I was in the hospital with something so trivial but because of constant checking and lack of sleep couldn’t get rid of a migraine headache brought on by being in the hospital. Because of the headache, the hospital wouldn’t discharge me no matter how much I pleaded and begged. One day before my birthday I was finally discharged and my older brother took me to a concert than out afterwards. It was nice hanging out with my big brother considering the 6 year difference.
you know, I did that too a few years ago. Not on my birthday, but I was in the hospital and the day I got out my friend took me to a concert. Everyone thought I was nuts, but it was actually the best thing for me. I had a good time and relaxed.
The best birthday present I ever recieved was my husband! I got married the day before my 21st birthday so he was my presen. 🙂
awww. how great!
This may sound silly–but one of the birthday presents I remember most was when I was 15. I had an orthodontist appt. I was so mad at him! I kept thinking I won’t even be able to eat my cake today! I’d had braces for 2.5 years, back in the long ago days when they were bands around every tooth–metal mouth city, no kissing for me. Boo, hoo. As you can guess, he took them off that day. I really had no idea that was in the works; he and my parents planned it. This is one of my fond Hastings memories, Olivia.
As for my other birthdays–my hubby always comes through. It’s all about me in the bedroom that night…whatever I want. Yummy. 😉
ha! I forgot – I got mine off on my birthday, too!
And, yay, hubs!
July 6, 2010 My 55th b’day: I received the news I was 10 years cancer-free. It wasn’t supposed to be that way. Best b’day EVER!
I think this is probably the best birthday present ever! Congrats!
My best birthday present was actually a “birthmas” present. My wedding anniversary is December 5th, my birthday is December 18th, a week before Christmas. When hubby and I got married, we agreed to forego a honeymoon and put the money towards a downpayment on a house.
Imagine my surprise, when I was getting my hair done and dressed for the wedding, one of my bridesmaids walks in with a card from hubby-to-be. In it was a copy of the reservation for a week at a resort just outside of St. Augustine, FL, and plans to spend a week in St. Augustine, right before Christmas, when the entire City is decorated and all the buildings have Christmas lights on them. It was beautiful, romantic and he did it all on a BIG budget.
Hubby worked in the hospitality industry for many years and called in favors to all his friends. When they realized it was our honeymoon, they gave us all sorts of goodies (spa days, drink and dinner coupons) and upgrades as gifts!!
awwww!
If the first hottie is posing with a horse, does that mean he’s hung like one?
What? I don’t have a cool birthday story to share. hehehe
you know… I had that same thought! ;}
but I want to win so…
my best birthday was when my students (8th graders) decorated my classroom with streamers and such (green and gold for my favorite Dallas Stars hockey team). and presented me with a Dallas Stars trash can (they actually pooled their money and that’s what they could afford). I still have that trashcan!
I *do* have a cool birthday story (maybe not the best, but it made me ahhhhhh).
honestly, the thoughtfulness and caring are what make birthdays special, not the price tag.
But hot guys aren’t anything to sneeze at too… ;}
Raven congrats on the books the look HOT! so do the men :OP
best birthday ever is my 25th I married my hubby. My hubby’s birthday is on the second mine is on the 11th and we married on the 13th (all in August) So when you add my birthday and my hubby’s you get our anniversary.
thanks for posting and sharing~Carin
mawmom(at)gmail(dot)com
Glad you like the covers. Yes, it was a tough thing to have to pick out that cover art. LOL. What a nice way to remember your anniversary!
I don’t care who plays Jack, but I want him.
haha! Are you talking about the photo or the guy in the book? Or both…
The best birthday gift I’ve ever gotten I have not received yet. I will be turning *gulp* 30 this December and my best friend and I are going on a cruise! I cannot wait. I’ve never been on one and I think it will make turning 30 just a wee bit easier on me 🙂
oooh! A cruise! I’ve never been on one. Have a great time! And 30 is just a number. (You might want to check out ROCKED – Heather is turning 40 and Rock is 33. She’s having an issue with that number, but Rock sure doesn’t.)
My birthday present this summer came a few weeks early. Mine falls in the beginning of July, and my husband and I planned a trip to take our boys to the beach in mid-June. Normally not much of story, but it was the first time that we have taken a trip that was just for the 4 of us (and my oldest is 10) and didn’t involve traveling to see my family that we live 12 hours away from.
I got an extra gift this year, too. My younger sister, her fiance and their 10 month old were traveling home from a wedding and had a 7 hour layover here the day before my birthday. So, I went to pick them up and got to spend time wth them at my house and love on my niece that I haven’t seen since Christmas. :o)
My best birthday present was my 17 birthday. My step-dad was in Iraq and he knew he couldn’t be there. At the same time my choir was going to Italy that week, without me knowing my step-dad paid for the whole thing from his active duty pay. Even gave my mom and sister money to give to me for shopping. I got to spend the week of my 17th birthday travelling through Italy, eat awesome food, and flirting with hot guys. When my step-dad finally got home about 1 1/2 years later I gave him a present I bought him in Italy! best dad ever!
And the winner of the Tied with a Bow anthology is…
Carin W.! Congratulations!
Check your email so I can get the ebook to you.
Thanks to everyone for stopping by and for those of you who’ve bought the books. I hope you enjoy them. Please let me know! Thanks, Olivia, for letting me hang out here for a few days!
Raven and Olivia–covers look DELISH and I’ll be adding them soon to the TBR pile. And as Olivia knows about my weakness for book pimping (hah), I’ll be pimping out these boys on my blog.
Great post!
Thanks so much, Trish! I hope you enjoy my guys! (the women in the stories certainly did. ;} )
Trish is one of my favorite book pimps.
