It’s Friday! For me, it’s undoubtedly going to be the best Friday of the year, because I’m going to go see one of my favorite bands in concert tonight.
Yep, it’s that one band. The one that was getting ready to perform when I was smacked upside the head with the original idea for Backstage Pass.
Avenged Sevenfold
Their live shows are always epic. Can’t WAIT! Give me a moment to bow down to their greatness. “We’re not worthy. We’re not worthy.”
Loving their new album, “Hail to the King”, btw. If you haven’t picked it up yet, get on that.
Coincidentally, October is Backstage Pass‘s anniversary. On October 1st 2010, Backstage Pass debuted to very limited acclaim. Very limited. It took about a year for it to really catch on. So the book is three years old this month. I think that’s 21 in book years–I forget the exact math. It amazes me that people are still reading it.
So I think we need an epic Backstage Pass giveaway celebration today. What do you think? I figured you’d agree with me. Who doesn’t like free stuff?

1. My favorite scene in Backstage Pass was when Brian and Myrna were fucking and Brian became inspired and began a combination of writing on Myrna and fucking her. This was my favorite scene in Backstage Pass because it was HOT and I loved that she inspired such brilliance in a man already so brilliant my himself. Myrna helped Brian reach his full potential as a lover and a musician.
2. I would looooveeee to see What Now in concert!!! Their music is amazing, and the video for Move Like A Sinner? (fans self)
1) There are so many, it’s hard to choose, but I think the scene in the bar where we all meet the band is probably my favorite scene. I love how clearly non-stereotypical each band member is, how they have their own personalities, not just shades of the same personality. So there you go.
2) Styx. I’m an 80’s girl, and have had a crush on Tommy Shaw since I was 13. That’s been many moons ago, and still to this day love the band, and HIS songs with Styx in particular.
Ohhhh i would LOVE to see Linkin Park and/or Staind.
My favorite scene is when Brian starts writing all the song lyrics on Myrna’s skin!!! Awesome and sexy!!
Favorite scene in Backstage Pass is when Myrna first witnesses how the band writes their music and Sed starts singing about her being “magically delicious”.

fav. scene….I would have to say the very opening bar scene…You gave just a hint of everyone’s personality and quirks. I laughed so hard reading that that my hubs asked if I was okay! As far as the band I most want to see in concert…wow…I have so many! Right now, I would have to say either Coldplay or Clarensau depending on the say (I see saw back and forth) Maybe GreenDay too? Argh…I can’t pick just one!!!!!

Loved all the books. When Myrna met Brian for the first time. Band I would Love to see CCR.
My favorite is tough. It’s either the first time Brian composes on Myrnas body when the are having sex or the motorcycle Handj I b or the bath scene with Brian, Myrna and Eric.
1) My favorite is the scene where Brian and Trey are learning the new piece by “sight reading” Myrna and Trey gets distracted.
2) I would love to see Guster again. Not hard, but I do love them. Have fun at Avenged Sevenfold, they’re awesome in concert!

1) My favorite scene was probably when Myrna has Bryan to come up to her hotel room. He thinks he’s going to get lucky. She actually takes care of him so his hangover won’t be bad and then the next morning He takes care of her 😉 Why because it was funny. Her handing him a banana was great.
2) Foo Fighters. I’ve seen them once and can;t wait to see them again
My favorite scene is when Brian first wrote the notes on Myrna and took her to his suite so the rest of the Sinners could see it. It was crazy and silly, but Myrna just went w/the flow.
And the band I’d like to see is Def Leppard. I saw them many years ago and they rockef my face off!

I loved the scene at the end when Myrna thought Brian was asleep and finally told him she loved him he opened his eyes and smiled that really got to me it was so sweet.

I saw A7X on Wednesday. Show was AWESOME!! My 10yo son got so excited when Synyster Gates, or as he calls him Synyster “Awesomeness” Gates, first came out on stage. Can’t wait to go again!! My 7yo son fell asleep during Nightmare, but that was a good 2 hours after his normal bedtime…AND he was waiting for that song too! Poor kid, but he still had a good time, just couldn’t stay awake any longer. LOL. He enjoyed what he saw though. They both proudly wore their concert T-Shirts to school the next morning. Thanks Olivia for introducing me to them! Enjoy their show, so worth the money! Next time I have to get closer seats, my 10yo made me promise!
The bathroom scene with Brian, Myrna, and Eric was so hot! All the way to the end with the shampooing of her hair.

Don’t make me pick just one scene! The whole freakin book is awesome! It starts everything! And who doesn’t love a guitarists…hands, such nimble fingers…mmm…off in my own fantasyland now.
Since I can’t see Sinners Live, it would be a toss up between Tool and NIN. But I have seen some awesome shows…especially in the late ’80s!
1. I can’t think of one favourite moment because I loved the whole book and series. I think I will go and read it again!
2. I would love to see Nine Inch Nails. It’s been so long since I last saw them and plus who doesn’t want to have Trent Reznor’s babies!! *sigh*
I love the whole book but i think my favourite scene is at the when Brian and Myrna are in the bedroom she thinks he’s sleeping so she tells him she loves him and he pops his eyes open and smiles at her and asks her to marry him.
I would love to see Avenged Sevenfold cos i have heard so much about them.

I haven’t read Bacstage Pass, but I loooove the Sole Regret series, so I’m sure it’s fan-freaking-tastic! As for who would I want to see?…I got a hankering for A7X, but I’m really into Vol.Beat right now. Others include Shinedown and Stoned Sour–oh for a backstage pass!

1. I have to say, my favorite scene in Backstage Pass is when Myrna first sees Brian in the bar, and realizes who he is. That whole scene is just priceless, and very much every nerdy woman’s fantasy. I know it’s early on in the book, but it was that scene that told me when I was reading the book that I had something special on my hands.
2. Gotta go with my boys, Def Leppard here. They’ve toured to my area twice that I know of, and both times I’ve not been able to go to the concert. Total bummer there! Though, if I had to pick a runner up, I’d like to see a Disturbed concert.

1. Fave scene….tough one! I guess the hotel bar scene where she first meets the guys. It always makes me think of the video clip of The Rev (may he rest in peace foREVer) and Syn at the bar and they’re being goofy.
2. Ooooh my all time fave band is A7X! I’ll be seeing them BACKSTAGE in Dallas tomorrow!!!!!!!! Totally lucked out in that drawing! *happy dances*

My favorite scene in Backstage Pass is when he starts writing lyrics on Myrna. I am an arist and I know what its like to just have to get out what’s in my head. I love that she was so willing to let her body be his paper. Creative people need the go ahead to be unconventional! Plus when they start going at it on the table and someone says “we have to eat off of that” and that’s what he does it cracks me up every time!
I would go to see the Steve Miller Band I adore their music! It holds so many memories for me.
I got to see The Police.
I love it when Brian and Myrna are in the hotel br for the first time and he is sooo trashed thinking he’s gonna get laid and lol she pretty much pats him on the head and gives him the hangover cure……
I can’t but would have loved to see Van Halen when they were first out in the 70’s DLR and EVH YUMMMMMM!

OHHHH I know the answer! The bestest was when Myrna stood up for Brian against, well not really against: But she stood up for him to his dad. No one likes it when ya feel like the parental unit isn’t on your side. Brian hadn’t ever had anyone give him that leg up with his dad. I felt it when he decided it was a very good thing indeed.
And I know they’re old school, but I love AC DC or maybe…Meatloaf? Yep, think I’m letting my age show.

1. What was your favorite scene in Backstage Pass? And why?
Definately the bath scene. That was my first real life introduction to Eric and I so love Eric. I waited to long for his book to come out .
2. Which real life band would you most like to see in concert?
I was an 80’s glam girl and I’d choose 2 bands here. Poison and Motley Crue. I was 15 when they toured the UK and my parents deemed me way to young to go. Real life and kids then got in the way and I never did get to see them.
All time favorite scene from ANY of your books was the dining room table when the guys yelled to Brian that they eat on the table and Brian said, “good idea” and well…you know…but I also loved when each of the boys pulled the same line out when everyone wondered who Myrna was…”none of your business, go get me a beer” and off they went….
I think my all time favorite group to go see would be…oh gosh…Matchbox Twenty was always one of those bands that I loved everything that they did…
I loved Backstage Pass so much – one of my favorite books of all-time. I loved the beginning when Myrna was struggling with a bad day and then happened upon the band. Their interactions felt so real and I fell in love with Brian right then. His thoughts as he tried to get to her room were perfect.
My band choice is Pearl Jam. I’ve been crushing on Eddie Vetter for 20 years but have never seen them in concert. Maybe some day – sigh.
My favorite scene in Backstage Pass…all of it? If I have to choose one it would have to be where Myrna tells Brian’s dad off. Someone needed to make that man realize how awesome his son was.
I would kill to see Avenged, oh wait I am tomorrow! Other than those rock gods I would friggin love to see 30 seconds to mars…mmm Jared Leto!

Im a huge concert goer and there are so many I still desire to see, specifically NIN.
I loved the scenes where Brian started hearing the music in his head & had to write down right then & there. Especially when he had to write it on Myrna.
My fave band is Green Day. Would LOVE to see them in concert.

For the one band I would love to see, it would have to be A7X, because I am a little obsessed with them since I found out they inspired the Sinners! I saw them once, probably 10 or so years ago and I would love to get to see them again. 🙂

I would have to say my favorite scene is when the Bathroom/Hot tub scene. I love Brian and Myrna is awesome. And Eric is great and makes me fall in love with him in his book. I love how he helps her along. I also love the sex scenes with Brian making Myrna his paper and writing notes on her. That is so hot.
I go to a lot of concerts, even when I was younger. One band that I have never gotten to see and really would love to see is Metallica. That is someone that I have never gotten the chance to see.

I would spend any amount of money right now to see My Darkest Days again. They were awesome live and walked around the club when they were done. Awesome, down-to-earth guys (and hot too!).

and the band I wanna see in concert: Avenged Sevenfold, they are without a doubt my favorite, I did see them a couple of years ago and they are awesome live, and oh so yummy to look at. It’s funny that they were your inspiration for this series, cause as I was reading backstage pass that was the band I pictured as I read, I loved the fact that I got to throw it in my book buddy’s face that I was indeed correct when I told her the characters reminded me of my favorite band.

I would LOVE to see Five Finger Death Punch!!! I loved seeing Saving Abel and Theory of a Dead Man – they were great in concert and would definitey see them again!

As far as the bands that I would like to see – would love to see Maroon 5 again and I would love to see Nickelback – (which I know is not cool – but, I still love them). lol
1. I loved everything about this book but the way each character came to life for me in the bar has to be my pick. It helped me picture every scene in all the following books as well. Truly gifted authors know how to set the table for their readers and this was done perfectly at the beginning of BP.
2. My biggest wish was to see Aerosmith and that came true last December. Watching Steven Tyler strut across the stage made my night.
1) I would say that the scene where Brian saves essentially from her ex. I love this scene because it really speaks to the fairy tale lover in my where the courage prince saves the damsel in distress. While Myr can definitely take care of her self, I think its comforting to think that there will be someone who loves you enough to risk everything to protect you.
2) I have been fortunate enough to see a lot of my favorite bands in concert already but I really wanna see Prince. He may not be rock and roll but I have loved his music since Purple Rain the movie came out
OMG- Without a doubt my favorite is the threesome with Brian, Trey, and Myrna. But to be more exact, it the part in that scene with the lollypop. All you can say to that scene is, someone go find my man a lollypop, NOW. It was by far one of the hottest scenes ever. LOVE IT!
And band wise, would love to see Avenged. Have to admit was not a fan til I started reading your books, but I can’t get enough of them now.
Would have to be when Myrna and Brian were having sex and Brian could hear music coming to him then started writing on her!! Love IT!! The bathtub scene was also very close to the top of mt favorites!!

Backstage Pass is my fav Sinners book and I pretty much liked any scene where Myrna’s body was used as sheet music. Or pretty much any scene Brian was in :).

My favorite scene is when Myrna first invites Brian to her room to help him with his “condition.” It start off super sweet, then….ay, mamacita. 😉
I would love to see The Police live. I know the odds are not in my favor, given their strained relationships, but a girl can hope, right? I also wish I’d seen Iron Maiden play San José, Costa Rica or Bogotá, Colombia, because hard rock and heavy metal bands tend to stick to the larger countries.

My favorite part was when Brian tells Myrna he loves her and she waits until she thought he was asleep and told him she loved him too. His eyes popped open and asked if she really said it. After all the two of them have been through, it was the most tender of moments in the book for me. I am a true romantic and old fashioned. I love reading and feeling the intensity of those moments.

I love the opening scene when Myrna first meets Brian and the band. It sets the entire feeling for the book- I just love the chemistry and sexy vibes of the first book. I just saw A7X when they came to Baltimore for the H2K tour- epic! They are one of my favorites and the vibes at the concert are still in my system. You will be feeling them for weeks.

The first scene in the bar when Myrna meets them and is so straight forward with them was awesome and they all seemed to be fighting for a chance with her , but she only had eyes for Brian.

As for who I’d like to see. The first time I saw Avenged Sevenfold was when I went to see Disturbed on the Uproar tour. I had been waiting years to see them and I loved them, but I was blown out of my seat by this band that I barley knew. I went to see A7X again and feel more in love with them, I’m glad that I’m justified in thinking of them when I read about Sinners.
I would most like to see Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed team up in concert again.

Fave Scene – so many to choose from – but i’m goning to pick when we first meet the band for the first time, letting Brian get drunk to forget his last girlfriend and that first meeting with Myrna – Professor sex.
Nine inch nails or Rival Sons or Black Keys
1. The time Marna & Brian get it on and Brian starts hearing music & writing all over Marna’s body in the middle of being passionate. And then gets her to stand practically naked in front of the other Sinners so they can read and get the music down. Thats my favourite scene.
2. Metallica, love their music from way back in the 80’s to the present day.
I think my favorite is when they are all at the grocery store and before when they were fighting about who got to go. I love it when the whole bunch is together. It’s always hilarious 🙂
So many really great scenes in this book! I like to be amused so Brian falling off the table was amusing but Brian going to Myrna’s hotel room was probably a bit funnier. Going to see a concert, I would probably pick Styx because I go their concert as often as possible. Never got to see them back in the day but I have been often on their recent tours.

1) It’s almost impossible to choose only one but I’ll say Brian and Myrna having sex at hotel bath when Eric entered the bathroom and Myrna was surprised that it didn’t stop him. There are so many favorites! I love when Myrna first meets the guys…..especially at the end of the night when she takes Brian back to her room and takes care of him. I love the scene where they go at it on the breakfast table while the band is in the other room. I love the bathroom threesome scene. The band(s) I would most like to see, and this one is a tough choice, is TooL, Five Finger Death Punch, A7X (again), and Shinedown (many times again). Concerts/music and books are one thing I never hesitate to splurge on so it’s hard to choose just one band.
Favorite part of the book was in the hotel when Brian and Myrna first met in the bar. Him trying to get his head on straight and her knowing who he was but not knowing that she would get to know him better.
I would most like to see avenged sevenfold in concert. They were just here in Orlando, but unfortunately I was not able to go. I hear though that their new tour ROCKS! I hope you have fun tonight!

The Backstage Pass is one of my favorite book of Sinners. There are soooooooooooo many unforgettable favorite scenes that I love and it stay here innumerable mind even though I already read it for a few months now.
But if I to choose I pArticulat scene that I love, it is when Myrna and The Band first encounter. I locve how we get a glimpse of the personality of each member. I live how they interact and communicate to somewhat piss each other. You can always feel the friendship and the bond they share to each other. A bond that can never be broken.
And can I add 1 more fave of mine, I love the part when Brian starts to write the song lyrics on Myrna’s body. It’s a unique way of getting inspired to write a song and also make ones body like a piece of pAper to write. That scene is SUPER HOT TO HANDLE..!!!

Already seen them once, a long time ago, but I would love to see Journey again. Not the Journey that’s touring now, but the original boys with Steve Perry as lead singer. Man, that boy could sing.

I love the road trip Brian and Myrna take to Tampa. It’s just the two of them and the side trip to the beach is very romantic. But the hilarious part is when he is almost late for the show because he won’t ask directions. I would love to see Buckcherry and Three Days Grace. And then there is Avenged Sevenfold and thanks for turning me on to Girl on Fire. They’re really good.
My absolute favourite scene in Backstage Pass is when Brian “surprised” Myrna by having Trey in bed with them. That scene was so incredibly HOT, I had to fan myself. I felt sorry for Trey as he was so in love with Brian, even Myrna realised it, thought it was hilarious with the cherry sucker too. I love the fact that Brian was so trusting in Trey that he allowed Trey to be there and it not get “weird between them later” and he wouldnt kick his ass….It was a steamy HOT & Funny scene!!!
I would love to see Bon Jovi in concert, they have had so many great hits and are still going strong decades on from when they started and Jon is still so good looking!

My fave part was Bryan and Myrna in the bathtub. Bryan gets inspired to write and asks Eric to hold her and he does. It amazed me how they share so much like it’s completely natural to do that. And Myrna was ok with it!!! Liked when they snuck off on that road trip to the beach!!!
Honestly I love when she first meets Brian. It just sparks for me. My all time favorite band is the Bee Gees, who I have never seen in concert. However second favorite was totally Aerosmith. Stephen sounds just awesome in person and I love how Joe rocks his guitar.

No way I could narrow down my most favorite scene. That is like me choosing my favorite book boyfriend. There are so many concerts that I still want to see Poison, Metallica, Ozzy and the list goes on and on. If $ grew on trees I would see all kinds of concerts.

I just finished listening to the last (in reading order) Sinners on Tour audio book Double Time. What a great series. Hard to pick a favorite scene in Backstage Pass, because all the love scenes were so hot, and I loved that Brian heard music in his head when he made love to Myrna, but I think I liked the one where Brian brought Trey in with them, then at the end said to Myrna, “He kissed me, didn’t he?” because the fact he didn’t completely freak out over Trey kissing him previewed the depth of his friendship with Trey and his belief that Myrna could understand that Trey wasn’t a threat to her relationship with Brian.

I haven’t started this series, but I’ve been longing to! I haven’t been to a concert in years, but I would love to see Bon Jovi again.
I was tempted to pick the opening scene as my favorite because it is just so good, but I love when Brian composes his first ballad with Myrna. Your stories have this wonderful way of making me believe that you CAN fall in love almost immediately, and it’s ok. The biggest issue is getting out of your own way. The line at the end of the chapter is what gets me. “He drifted to sleep with her soft cheek pressed to his chest, his achingly full heart throbbing within. At last. He’d found her. His one.”
That’s what happened with my husband and I. Had our first date at the beginning of January and were engaged by the end of February. We got married two and a half years later and January of 2014 will be 4 years since that first date. Your stories are sexy and sweet and show us how much love there is in the world… for all of us.

1) I loved any time Brian got inspired by making love and started making music. It would be amazing to be the muse of a brilliant musician.
2) I love concerts and would die to see Avenged!!! Please let is know how it was 🙂
I love the scene at the start when she sees all the band… They act so crazy and it always makes me laugh when I remember it 🙂
I’m super late, but I have a good excuse… Barcelona and kick ass music.
1.) My favorite scene,non sexual would have to be the road trip when they Brian gets them lost. It made them so real because the men in my life always get lost on road trips, and I’ve had the experience of getting lost and finding an amazing experience. My favorite sex scene hands down was Myrna, Brian, and Eric in the bathroom (which sounds like a clue game) I loved it because even though before then was really good sex scenes, here you set yourself apart as an author. I was going to experience sex scenes out of the ordinary. There is plenty of filthy erotica out there, here we have well written sex scenes that didn’t have the woman coming 5 times from penetration. I know it sounds weird but I could see that sex scene happening in real life. I may not be so lucky but someone is.
2.) I may only be 25 but I reallllllyyy want to see the Rolling Stones live. I wish I could have seen them in their prime but I would love to see them, or Fall Out Boy, or Monster Magnet. All three please?
1. Too many scenes that got me addicted to this series. Defiantly when they first met too funny, composing his new song – sex muse, traveling in her car/cafe/rain sex, Brian/Myrna/Trey sandwich, but especially when Jeremy came for her at her home – Brian flew to keep her safe – Myrna fighting back with STUPID. Apparently I liked the sex scenes but really its the connection it produced.
2. I would love to see FFDP – Five Finger Death Punch. Every song empowers you or it’s a song written about your life. I’m kidda like Myra. Very straight laced / preppy but love my metal bands.
Backstage Pass is by far my most favorite book. It is really hard to pick a scene but I would have to say it was when they told each other they loved the each other . My favorite line in the book was when Brian said” This love, our love is forever .” He is so sweet and so into Mryna. Makes you want to find a real Brian :)Their characters are the reason I signed up on twitter ….. my friends think I’m crazy lol

I love the scene where Myrna meets the group for the first time. Ahh there are so many bands but I’m a huge fan of OneRepublic!
1. One of my fav. scenes in the book is at the end when they slow it down cause Jace needed bass riffs and Brian tells her “just love me,Myrna,please” . And she wasn’t ready to hear that yet. I felt bad for Brian cause he wanted that so much with her and it was so apparent to everyone but her. And then he just tells her that he loves her and she FINALLY tells him that she feels the same way. To read the joy that it brought him was beautiful. It was a YESSSSS moment.
2. The band that I would like to see would be My Darkest Days. Found out about them on the Double Time playlist.

I love the bathtub scene
With Eric watching then later they give him the hat with Brian’s seed n it..too funny!
My favorite scene was when Bryan was composing on her body as they were having sex, it was funny and touching and so very hot.
1) My favorite scene from Backstage pass would be the bathtub scene with Brian, Myrna & Eric. Holy moly fanning myself lol, that was just one super HOT scene girl!!! I also liked the scene when Myrna should up to Brian’s dad. Brian’s dad never thought he was as good as he was & Myrna just let him have it!
2) I would love to see The Script in concert! Their lyrics are just amazing! Love there songs!
OMG! I’m totally jealous you saw A7x in concert! They’re not coming to NC & I’m morethan a little bummed! Syn Gates is soooooo yummy! Fav scene in Backstage Pass….really hard question cause tthey’re all awesome but hot tub scene with Sticks was hot & funny! Band I’d love to see……duh! Avenged Sevenfold! Keep up the fantastic writing! Can’t wait for Exodus End books!!
